A bird sings outside my window-
She sings there everyday-
With soothing charm in her lyrics-
And plumage on display-

I wonder if she comes for me-
Am i so bold to think-
Does she see my soul for what it is-
Or just come to take a drink-

No matter what the reason be-
Her songs i long to hear-
If not for me i only hope-
I could hold her oh so near-

A bird sings outside my window-
And then she flys away-
A smile comes apon me-
For tomorrows another day-
